Revd Samuel Woodforde DD 1636-1701		Alice Woodforde nee Beale (died 1664)

The Revd Samuel Woodforde DD (1636-1701) was the eldest son of Robert Woodforde (1606-1684) and Hannah Haunch (1617-1698), of Old, Northamptonshire. Samuel married Alice Beale, who died in 1664.

The eldest son of Samuel and Alice, the Revd Heighes Woodforde of Epsom (1664-1724) married Mary Lamport who died in 1742.

Revd Samuel Woodforde 1695-1771		Jane Woodforde nee Collins 1706-1766

The eldest son of Heighes and Mary was the Revd Samuel Woodforde (1695-1771), Rector of Ansford, Somerset, who married Jane Collins.  

Revd James Woodforde 1740-1803

The youngest son of Samuel and Jane was the Revd James Woodforde ( 1740-1803), the diarist.

Heighes Woodforde 1726-1789		Ann Woodforde nee Dorville 1734-1799

Their eldest son of Samuel and Jane, Heighes Woodforde ( 1726-1789) was an Attorney at Ansford. He married Ann Dorville, who died in 1799.

William Woodforde 1758-1844		Anne Woodforde nee Dukes of Galhampton 1771-1829

The eldest son of Heighes and Ann was William Woodforde (1758-1844), `Nephew Bill' in Parson Woodforde's diaries, who married Anne Dukes of Galhampton.

Samuel Woodforde RA 1763-1817

The second son of Heighes and Ann was Samuel Woodforde RA (1763-1817)

Nancy (Anna Maria) Woodforde 1757-1830

The youngest daughter of Heighes and Ann was Anna Maria Woodforde (1757-1830), `Nancy' in Parson Woodforde's diaries.

Julia Woodforde 1789-1873

William and Anne's youngest daughter was Julia Woodforde (1789-1873).

The second son of William and Anne was George Augustus Woodforde (1801-1877), a solicitor at Ansford and Castle Cary, who married Harriet Leir (1806-1871).

Revd Alexander John  Woodforde 1839-1909		Elizabeth Woodforde  nee Laishley 18?6-1905

The eldest son of George and Harriet was the Revd Alexander John Woodforde (1839-1909), Rector of Locking, Somerset who married Elizabeth Laishley (1826-1905)

Reginald Woodforde 1880-1962

Alexander and Elizabeth's youngest son was Reginald Fielding Marriott Woodforde (1880-1962) who married Gertrude Griffiths.

Mona Woodforde 1923-2005

Reginald and Gertrude's only daughter (sister to brothers Kenneth and Robert) was Mona Gertrude Woodforde (1923-2005) who married George Butt.

Stephen Butt

George and Mona's eldest child is Stephen Butt.
